Our history
The people behind Orobit spent the last decade building blockchain infrastructure, cryptographic tooling and payment systems. Across all of it the same trade kept appearing: programmability on one side, Bitcoin's guarantees on the other, and a bridge or a custodian standing between them.
SCL is built to remove that trade. Contracts settle on the base chain, assets move over Lightning, and holders never leave Bitcoin. Everything needed to check those claims is public: the language, the compiler and the node.
